• $26 Million No Tax Increase Bond Issue

     

    • As you probably already know, April 4th is a very important day for our children and community for two reasons.  Carthage voters will select three candidates to represent our students on the Board of Education during the next three years.  However, the part of the election being discussed the most is the bond issue regarding building a performing arts center and baseball field, both on the Carthage High School campus.

      Shall the Board of Education of Carthage R-9 School District, issue general obligation bonds in the amount not to exceed $26,000,000 for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, furnishing, and equipping a performing arts center and a baseball field?
